Screwed up web site AGAIN????
When attempting to COMPLETE ORDER - I get this message, I guess you do not alienate your customers by chance - YOU WORK AT IT?????????

User's recommendation: could not check out from my cart and they were supposed to give 29 dollars off a purchase over 75 dollars BUT they only showed 10 dollars OFF - have had previous PROBLEMS with them? They just DO NOT LISTEN TO THEIR CUSTOMERS? Do what you want BUT I AM NOT BUYING FROM THEM ANYMORE!!!!
Perhaps taking exception to the harshness of the complaint
I am 71 years old and a semi-retired businessman who picks and chooses the folks I deal with fairly carefully. I have learned over the years to check and double check my 'suppliers'.
In truth, the easiest way is to always shop for your products, whatever they may be. You learn more by looking at all the competitors before slapping down the cash, and like it or not, you become a more informed customer. I have purchased from Puritans Pride (and Swanson) for 22 years. By carefully shopping, I have never been in a position to have to return anything to anyone.
That being said, I have spoken with Puritans Pride Customer service folks dozens of times and have never found their information lacking. Do I suspect that the current pissed consumer has a legitimate gripe, Yes, I do. I am sure he was wronged. But the preponderance of the evidence reveals they mostly are a decent company.
Buyer Beware, of course, but I think you will not be financially injured by purchasing from them.
In fact, I am ordering from them now...12-05-2020 at 10:55 pm. Good Luck all.

I'm 73 yrs. young.
And when I say, I have been a customer of Puritan pride for years, you just know it has been years. I have never had any problem with them either. If I did have any issue it was handled right away with no problems.
I too like the (3) three for (1) one price.
I thought the same thing as the person down below about the statement she said, that the person that called her for the sale or not refunded that money , was the scamming person they must have gotten her phone number off a list.
Anyways, I don't usually say anything or comment, but sometimes you just have to. Hopefully someone won't take a wrong impression of Puritan Pride.

we have been customers with your company for at least 25yrs or more starting when we lived in Holbrook NY. Every time we ordered your product came to at least close to $100 .
Just recently we placed an order. It was for our Vitamins at the beginning of last month which came to about $100.00. This pass week we realize we forgot to order Vit D. So I called to order it in your catalog #922AI4.Item #17621 and had to pay shipping It was and over sight on our part so I ask if they would not charge for shipping on this product.
I was told a BIG NO. I would think that the company could make an allowance to satisfy the customer who has been with you for such a long time. I wait for your response.

Concern about calcium source used in 600 mg calcium.
I have called to find out what calcium source is used in product#4223. Never can get a straight answer because nobody seems to know too much about the product.
It concerns me because of gout issues.
I have no parathyroid glands and need pure carbonate without D3. Not many choices available.

I ordered some vitamins and received an e-mail saying it was shipped. After waiting a few days I decided to call them.
After waiting on the phone, then gave me an option to call me back that I accepted. Finally, I was called back and the agent told me they do not have the article. She says that I was to received credit in a few days.
A company that charge you before having the merchandise is not serious. In the meantime, I lost the chance to buy the vitamin from another store

Product Return
I have recently begun taking Jarrow Formula Methyl B-12 & Methyl Folate supplement. I currently have two bottles (one opened/one unopened).
I have been experiencing severe itching and upon doing research found that excessive B-12 could be the cause. I need to return these items for a credit; however, I no longer have the packing slip required by Puritan's Pride for return purposes. Please let me know how I may go about returning these items for a credit.
I am a returning customer and do spend a good amount of money on Puritan's Pride products, and would appreciate your consideration. Thank you.

Very Poor Service Regarding Affiliate Program Participation

I have attempted to contact Puritan's Pride regarding participation in the Affiliate Program, but with NO success. I just attempted to contact one
of your representatives, via telephone, but was not able to understand the language he was speaking.
I have the American Consumers Bureau, which is a Membership oriented organization providing varied Benefits, Products and Services to American Families. I will look forward to one
of your representatives contacting me so that ACB may participate in the
Affiliate Program. I have been a loyal customer for many years. If I do
not hear from you, I will be contacting the Consumers Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and/or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)

When shopping online I always use Rakuten or RebatesMe to save money. On 11-28-2019, I shopped the Black Friday sales on Puritan's Pride using RebatesMe.
They had partnered with RebatesMe to provide 14.5% cash back during the Black Friday sales, which was a slightly better percentage than Rakuten offered. Now they claim they do not work with RebatesMe and refuse to pay the $36.30 they owe me on the $250.36 I spent! I have always had trouble getting them to pay up thru Ebates (now Rakuten), but getting Ebates to chase down my cash back always worked. Now it looks like Puritan's Pride is just balking at paying what they owe.
I have been a good customer, but now I will shop for vitamins and supplements at other online stores that honor their commitments.
They are just sleazy and dishonest. I hope others follow suit and avoid this dishonest company.

I used to order vitamins from Puritan's Pride for several years and I thought it is respectable and reliable company, but...
I live in Russia and I have to pay for international shipment. That's why I always try to order for about $100.
It is clear, if I buy 1 product with $10 price and pay $17 for the shipment in fact I get that product for $27, but if I buy 10 pcs for $100 and pay $25 for the shipment one piece is $12.5.
They sent last package without some ordered product. Nobody told me before the package was sent that some position is out of stock. If they did - I would change order and keep average cost of vitamins including shipment in a resonable limits. But they didn't warn me and informed me when I could change nothing.
They refunded money for the absent position but as a result I've bought vitamins 50% more expensive (with a glance of shipping cost) than I ordered! Nice difference!
Moreover, shipment cost with such a cut order had to be cheaper but they didn't cut it for the less weight.
I wrote to Customer Help explaining situation. I hoped they compensate my loss by some way but the answer was "We are sorry, bla-bla-bla, please order again."
Who would buy again after that? I don't want to get vitamins 50% more expensive than I paid for.
Shame on you, Puritan's Pride!

After this review (on another platform) I got reply from the company. They refunded $5 for wrong shipment cost and sent $5 as apology.
Nobody in Puritan's Pride tried to calculate how much I really lost. I wrote to them again with detail calculation but they don't need to keep loyal customers: still no answer.

MISADVERTISING MAKING GOOD
I placed 3 separate orders and the promotion was buy 2 get 3 free, I received just what was ordered and no free products.When called I was informed that I ordered less than what I actually did and they say that was how it was supposed to be.I ordered 7 and got 7,no free items.In the other 3 orders again just what I ordered and no free Items.I've been a customer over 30 yrs.NO MORE!!!!

Order held hostage
I ordered shark cartilage. Never received it but they said it was on backorder with no estimated date when it would be shipped.
They charged me for it.
I called to cancel the order or get a refund, but they said neither was an option. Sounded like an an offshore operation who didn't give a crap.
